Give your child the opportunity to explore how fun fitness can be, prep for upcoming sports seasons and keep moving this summer with one of our Myriad kids camps.
Fitness Camp (July 10-14, 2023 - ages 4-7)
Myriad Kids Fitness Camp gives kids the opportunity to explore fitness through activities, games and age-appropriate workouts. Campers can expect to practice and learn gross motor skills such as lunges, wall walks, burpees and more. They will get the opportunity to learn about and use various pieces of equipment from certified instructors. We will incorporate yoga and meditation practices into the week to promote wellbeing. Social skills are developed as campers work together within games and activities.
Weightlifting Camp (July 17-21, 2023 - ages 8-14)
Myriad Weightlifting Camp will help teach students the basic mechanics of various weightlifting movements and how to perform them safely and efficiently. They will learn how to conduct accessory pieces and skill work safely. As students become more comfortable they will begin to learn more complex movements with weights such as deadlifts, squats, presses and more. Campers should expect a mix of learning, doing and having fun throughout the week.
